The fun way to learn about nature

There’s plenty for children to do on our farm. There are lots of different animals to learn about, and we have our own playground available. And all around the surrounding area, there are lots of discoveries to be made and adventures to be had.

In addition, Schladming-Dachstein offers a wide range of activities for families with children. The Kids’ Week program, sponsored by the Schladming-Dachstein region, lets parents relax while their children enjoy the wide variety of entertainment on hand. Numerous innovative play areas, in fact, await you and your children in the region. The way to the new “high-altitude” playground on the Rittisberg in Ramsau am Dachstein leads through a Fairy-Tale Trail–or you can simply take the comfortable chairlift. Either way, a fantastic adventure- and play paradise awaits children of all ages.

In “Hopsiland” on the Planai there are swings, slides, jungle-gyms and even a “Water World.” And, there’s the newest attraction, a marble run. As if that weren’t enough, the tierHOLZpark (“Wooden Animal Park”) and the barefoot summit path on the Riesneralm (the first in Europe) provide plenty of fun and variety.

On the Ramsau Sattelberg, children can experience the first Austrian nature- and environmental trail for designed especially for kids.

The Slalom Kart in Ramsau promises a motor-free speed rush, as the carts swoop down a grassy surface that serves as a ski slope in winter. (But, of course, the lift is in service even in summer.)

The Sölktäler Nature Park offers fun-filled children’s programs on their Kids’ Hiking Days.

Summer sledding on the 8-km Hochwurzen Rohrmooser toboggan run is fun for the whole family. Easy access with the Hochwurzen cable car.
